“Your hands cant hit what your eyes cant see”
- Muhammed Ali
As old as humanity itself, the primal instinct of fight or flight remains integral to human nature.
From the ancient Greeks to the Modern Day, two people standing face to face, with just their hands as weapons has long captivated audiences.
The romance, the history, the sheer naked bravery & at times brutality of Boxing has ensured its place in the human psyche and sub-conscious.
Very seldom can sporting events capture the imagination like that of a World Championship bout between two great athletes at the top of their game, putting everything on the line and standing toe to toe.
Very few sports can surpass Boxing for legends created- Marciano, Louis, Ali, Frazier, Tyson, Hagler, Holmes, Duran, Benn, the list is endless.
Each Titan having secured their place in sporting greatness through nothing but sheer strength of will, physical prowess & a dedication to an unwavering goal many will attempt but few will achieve.
Boxing in the 21st century is seeing a revival with the sport becoming hugely popular and accessible to wider audiences, with nearly 80,000 16-25 year olds participating in some form of boxing according to England Boxing.
Women now represent 21% of Boxing participants in the UK, an incredible rise considering for how long Boxing was a male only sport, with top pros like Nicola Adams and Katie Taylor achieving national and international recognition.
The discipline, focus and determination Boxing not only demands but also rewards its disciples with is why it is so popular with so many people from such a wide spectrum of society.
Rich, poor, female, male, black, white, straight or gay, status is irrelevant when you step into the squared circle.
Determination, Dedication, Discipline- Qualities achieved in Boxing, but admired & respected in the wider world.
“Just wanted to say a huge thanks to Rav and the team for all the advice and helping me get ready for my fight against KSI’
Logan Paul
“Having competed at the highest level, I can say boxing training is one of the best forms of conditioning there is. I enjoy the variety of Rav’s sessions, ranging from technique to pad work and sparring"
James Tindall - Double Olympian, GB Hockey
Contrary to popular belief, Boxing training does not mean stepping into the ring on day one and fighting. Only a small percentage of those who box actually wish to spar or fight. Boxing may be the “Sweet Science” but it should not be complicated; as any good coach will say, do the simple things well & everything else will follow.
The benefits, both physical & mental that can be achieved through training like a boxer without ever having to hit or get hit are countless - working the heavy bag to increase power, the speedball to improve hand-eye coordination, or pad work to increase reactions & technique, not to mention the plethora of footwork drills and conditioning exercises available to help you become the best version of you that you can be.

One to One Training - With over 20 years of experience in numerous fields of fitness & training, Rav will work closely with you to help you attain your goals, whether they be to lose weight, build muscle & tone up, train for a bout or simply punch out the frustrations of a stressful day on the pads.
His open & friendly approach will make you feel fully relaxed but his intense, varied training sessions will leave you sweating, spent, but feeling good in the knowledge you have given your all.
Should you wish to spar Rav is happy to guide you through the process, beginning at a gentle pace with technical & touch sparring through to light and eventually full contact sparring.
There will never be any pressure to spar, it is always at the client' s discretion, should the coach think they have enough experience and are ready to take that step.

All the world' s a stage, so the saying goes.
Whether treading the boards of the theatre, or hitting that mark in front of the camera, its not just about being your best but being your best when it counts.
Can you be at your best at an audition, can you perform when the cameras are rolling, when the eyes of a paying audience are focused on every move you make?
This is the type of pressure that boxing will give you the tools to help overcome & emerge victorious.
Presence, physical strength & agility, mental clarity and dexterity, adaptation, improvisation - a selection of the skills learnt in boxing, but qualities that are invaluable not only in acting but in everyday life.
In Acting & so often in Boxing there will be the Antagonist & the Protagonist, both having to engage eachother & the audience in their own unique ways.
Both disciplines require you to act and react, the quickness of mind to adapt to fluid scenarios where the smallest change can have the biggest impact & to have the confidence to stand your ground & own your space.
Rav is in the unique position of being both a classically trained actor & professional Boxing coach & over time has developed exercises and Boxing routines to help actors and performers, not only physically but improve their confidence, awareness and presence, not to mention learning a hugely valuable skill, not only for everyday life but for the all important CV.
In addition to the weekly Group Training classes, tailored one to one or group training is also available for actors who wish to work on stage combat or have a particular scene or piece for which Boxing or Kickboxing training can help.
